How it works
A parent opens the site on a phone, tablet or computer and taps "Call". After a short ring Santa picks up. Speech recognition, a language model with strict child-safety instructions and a warm synthetic Santa voice work together in real time; on video calls a talking Santa avatar appears on screen. The child's camera image never leaves the device.
Safety and honesty
Santa keeps to Christmas topics, never asks for an address, phone number or school and never promises presents. A parent gives consent before the first call. Recordings are kept for 30 days for safety, then deleted, and are never used for advertising or to train AI. Santa is clearly labelled as an AI character, and if an adult asks him seriously, he says so. More on our child safety page.
