Child safety: how Santa keeps calls safe and kind
Parents trust us with something precious: a conversation with their child. This page explains, plainly, how our AI Santa behaves, what happens to the call, and what we do when something goes wrong.
Santa's rules
Christmas topics only. Santa talks about the North Pole, reindeer, elves, riddles, songs and wishes – no scary, sad or grown-up themes, no brands and no advertising.
No personal questions. Santa never asks for an address, phone number, school or surname. If a child says one, Santa doesn't repeat it and steers back to Christmas.
No promises. Santa listens to every wish but never promises a specific present. What's under the tree stays the parents' decision.
Worrying words go to a grown-up. If a child says someone is hurting them, that they are hurt, or that they are alone and scared, Santa calmly tells them to tell a parent or another grown-up right away.
Parents stay in control
A parent or guardian gives consent before the first call. The free trial is one short call; paid calls are counted by the minute and the time left is shown on your screen. Santa doesn't sell anything to children.
We recommend that a grown-up stays close during the call – put it on speaker and enjoy it together.
What Santa can and can't see
On a video call your child sees Santa on screen. Your camera image is shown only on your own screen and is never sent anywhere – not to Santa, not to us. Santa only hears your child.
What happens to the call
Speech is processed in real time so Santa can answer. A recording and a text transcript of the call are kept for 30 days so we can listen back, fix Santa's mistakes and keep children safe – then they are deleted automatically.
Only we can access recordings; they are never sold, never shared for advertising and never used to train AI. Want a recording deleted sooner? Email us with your call link.
If you choose the Magic package, the parent form (your child's first name, interests and so on) is kept only until the minutes are used, and no later than 31 January 2027. Every field is optional – please don't include addresses, surnames or health details.
Honest about AI
Santa is an AI character made for Christmas fun, and the site and the call screen say so clearly. To children he is Santa on his magic phone; if an adult asks him seriously, he answers honestly. It's a short holiday call, not a companion app – no ongoing chats and no messages to your child after the call.
If Santa gets something wrong
Santa is an AI and can sometimes mishear or say something clumsy. He repeats a new name back as a question so your child can correct him. If anything in a call worries you, write to hello@streamlinecommerce.eu with your call link: we read every message, listen to the call and use it to improve Santa's rules.

Frequently asked questions
Can other people talk to my child through the service?
No. Santa is the only voice on the other end – there are no other users, chats or comments.
Is my child's voice used to train AI?
No. Recordings are kept for 30 days for safety and quality, then deleted, and are never used to train AI.
Does Santa see my child on a video call?
No. Your camera image never leaves your device.
What age is the service for?
Mostly children aged 3–10, always with a parent's consent and a grown-up nearby.
