How to write a letter to Santa
Writing to Santa is one of the sweetest Christmas traditions: children learn to share wishes, remember good deeds and wait for the magic. Here's how to write one together – and how to hear Santa's reply before Christmas.

What to put in the letter
Start with a greeting and your child's name. Then a few lines about what they're proud of this year: learning to ride a bike, helping at home, a new friend. Then one or two wishes and a question for Santa – for example, how Rudolph is doing.
Little ones can draw a picture instead – Santa loves drawings most of all.
Sample letter
"Dear Santa, my name is Emma and I'm 6. This year I learned to ride my bike and I help look after our cat Whiskers. I'd love a drawing book. Are your reindeer ready for the big trip? Merry Christmas to you and the elves!"
Where to send it
You can post it in a Christmas mailbox, leave it on the windowsill or by the tree. And if your child wants an answer right away, call Santa: he'll listen live and answer their questions. With the Magic package, parents can "pass on" the letter beforehand – Santa will already know what your child wrote.
