A free call with Santa – live, not a recording
Looking for a free call with Santa? You can try one today: a 90-second live call in your browser, on a phone, tablet or computer. Santa picks up, hears your child and answers in real time – it's a live AI Santa, not a recording. No app, no account – just your email for the call link.
What exactly is free
The free call with Santa is a real, live voice call that lasts 90 seconds. Your child says hello, Santa answers, and they talk – about the reindeer, the snow at the North Pole, what your child has been up to this December. Nothing is pre-recorded, so every call is different, and Santa reacts to what your child actually says.
The trial is free once per email address and device. We ask for your email because that's where the call link goes, and a parent gives consent before the first call. You don't download anything, you don't create a password and you don't enter a card. A working microphone is all you need.
What isn't free – honestly
We'd rather be clear up front. Longer calls are paid: a 5-minute voice call is $4.99, a 5-minute video call – where your child sees Santa on screen – is $9.99, and the 10-minute Magic package is $19.99. With Magic, you fill in a short form with your child's name, age, pet, achievements and wishes, and Santa brings it up as if the elves had told him. Up to 4 brothers and sisters can take turns.
There's one payment and no subscription. Minutes never expire, can be split over several calls and are kept if the line drops. Every paid package comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. The parent form is part of the Magic package, so on the free call Santa only knows what your child tells him.
How to make 90 seconds magical
Ninety seconds goes by fast, so a little preparation helps. A few things that work well for families:
Pick a quiet spot. Turn off the TV and keep the phone or tablet close to your child. Santa hears best when one person talks at a time.
Put it on speaker so you can listen in – and keep your own phone handy if you'd like to film the reaction.
Prepare one question together. “What do the reindeer eat?” or “Is it snowing at the North Pole?” gives a shy child an easy way to start.
Don't build it up too much. “Someone special might want to say hello” is often enough. If your child goes quiet, that's completely normal – Santa is patient and will ask a gentle question.
Let your child lead. Try not to answer for them. The magic is that Santa answers them.
A live AI Santa, not a recording
Many “free Santa calls” are pre-recorded messages: a voice plays, your child listens, and that's it. Ours works differently. Santa is an AI character who talks live, so he hears your child's answer and responds to it – a riddle, a question about the workshop, a story about the family dog. We're open with parents that he's AI, because that's what makes a real conversation in real time possible.
Santa is designed for children. He never asks for an address, phone number or school, never promises a specific present, never threatens or scares, and never tries to sell anything to your child. You can read more on our child safety page.
What comes after the free call
If your child loved it, you can pick up where you left off. Families usually choose between a 5-minute voice call ($4.99), a 5-minute video call ($9.99) or the 10-minute Magic package ($19.99). Magic minutes can be split – for example one call in Advent and another on Christmas Eve. Any package can also be given as a gift with a printable QR voucher, which grandparents tend to love.
And if it wasn't for you – that's fine too. There's no subscription to cancel, and you never entered a card.
